Melton Centrals stalwart, Clint 'Crazy' Mullins notched up 150 games on the weekend becoming the fifth player to do so in Central's history.
He kicked 3 goals in an important win against Lancefield and was an important focal point and leader for this game. The Tigers played a talented outfit, many players coming up from the under 18's, but it was the experience and leadership of players like Crazy that got Centrals over the line. It is fair to say Centrals will need Crazy fit for a crack at the finals, it is here that his leadership is important.
Crazy has played on Lancefield Park many times in his career but the most memorable game would have to be in 2005, where he kicked 2 goals and gave Centrals their first ever premiership. He now becomes a well deserved Life Member of the club. Many would not know that he helped the club off the field as well, serving on the committee for a couple of years and building the club in tough times.
He epitomizes what a Life Member should be and from all those at Melton Centrals, members, supporters and partners, we would like to congratulate Clint Mullins on an amazing 150 games. Well done!
