Melton Central Football Netball Club

"We live together, we'll support each other."

Melton Centrals has undertaken a variety of projects to promote healthy and safe lifestyles as well as awareness of charities within the community. Members of the Club have welcomed these initiatives and we continue to look at developing these initiatives while looking at other ventures to further enhance our messages.

ANZAC Day

The Melton Central Football & Netball Club proudly honoured our veterans on ANZAC Day in 2010. The Women's footballers lined up for a minute silence before taking on Braybrook in a spectacular match. Centrals were able to put on a luncheon for over 300 people on the day and donated $250 to the RSL.

Mother's Day

The Melton Central Football & Netball Club got into the spirit of the Mother's Day weekend in 2010. All netball sides played with a pink netball to raise awarness for the Breast Cancer Network. All mothers of Centrals players and officials got free entry and enjoyed a luncheon. 80 mothers at the ground received a flower for the day.

Call to Arms - Tackling Cancer Together

The Melton Central Football & Netball Club has supported Call to Arms since 2008 and has raised over $1500 to date. It is a way to support men who have survived cancer, those who are currently facing cancer and to remember mates who have lost their lives to cancer. Call to Arms is not only about raising funds but awareness for cancer in men.
